SIW‐backed multiplexing slot antenna for multiple wireless system integration

In this letter, a planar cavity-backed multiplexing antenna (SMA) is proposed and validated experimentally. A cavity realized by using novel transmission line known as substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) technology. The design comprises five SIW cavities each one consisting of slot for launching the energy in free space. Three different types slots are employed lower mutual coupling compact circuit integration. individual feeds created such way, that produces distinct resonant frequencies dominant mode while maintaining sufficient port isolation. Finally, concept with experiments results show acceptable agreement simulated counterparts. shows operating frequency channels center 5.2, 5.5, 5.75, 6.2, 6.8 GHz. isolation between any two radiating elements retains below −21 dB average gain better than 3.5 dBi at frequency. SMA element can be used to cover wide range wireless access points seems suitable multiple system
